What types of events do you cover?
I cover a wide range of events across New York City, including red carpet premieres, Broadway opening nights, corporate dinners and awards ceremonies, brand launch parties, performing arts productions, non-profit galas, and private celebrations. I have had the privilege of photographing events at venues throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, from the Tony Awards to intimate performances at The Green Room 42 and The Yale Club. What areas do you serve?
I am based in New York City and primarily work across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. I regularly travel to New Jersey (including Princeton, where I have covered theater productions), and I am able to travel to Westchester and Long Island for sessions and events. For destination work or events outside the tri-state area, reach out and we can discuss travel arrangements.
Do you photograph corporate events and brand activations?
Yes! I have worked with brands like Fever-Tree on everything from product launch parties to corporate headshot sessions to awards dinners. Whether you need event coverage, team headshots, or photography for a brand activation, I can tailor a package to fit your needs. Corporate clients receive a dedicated shot list consultation and fast turnaround.
Do you work out of a photography studio?
I have a home studio in New York City with professional lighting equipment and multiple colored backdrops, which works great for headshot and portrait sessions. I am also happy to shoot on location anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or the greater NYC area, whether that is a park, a rooftop, your office, or an event venue. For an additional fee, we can rent a professional studio space that suits your vision and needs.
How much do you charge?
Pricing varies depending on the type of session or event. Headshot sessions, portrait sessions, engagement shoots, and event coverage are all priced based on duration, location, number of deliverables, and scope. How do I secure a booking?

How do you prepare for your shoots?
When you book me, I will share a brief survey with you to get a sense of what you are looking for in your shoot, including an itemized shot list. We can also chat via email, phone, or video call to ensure I come in with the right expectations to best serve your needs.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
This varies based on time of year and bandwidth, but typically I will be able to return photos within 1-2 weeks of the shoot, depending on complexity and number of images.
How will I receive my photos?
I deliver all photos via a personalized Pixieset gallery. You are able to print, view, and download (unlimited downloads) from this high-resolution gallery from any device. At your discretion, the gallery can be password protected and shared with anyone (e.g., family and friends) to view.
Do you deliver black & white photos?
I will typically deliver both color and black and white photos at my discretion based on what I think looks better for each individual photo. I am happy to deliver all photos in color or black and white if you specifically indicate as such. I can also provide specialized versions of your photos (e.g., single color pop, background treatments) for an extra fee.
Am I allowed to post my photos online?
Absolutely! I only ask that anywhere you share my images that you mention me by name (Jason Haberman) or tag me (@jasonhabermanphoto) to provide credit for the work I have created.
Will my photos appear on your website?
As a photographer, it is important to me to be able to showcase my work to bring in new clients and demonstrate my expertise (and also show off how good you look in your photos!). You may be featured on my website (the site you are on right now) as well as a few highlights on my Instagram.
